Job Title: Export Officer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process export documentation, including airway bills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other customs paperwork.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, customs authorities, and clients to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments.
  • Verify shipment details, weights, and packaging to comply with airline and customs requirements.
  • Ensure all export activities adhere to company policies, international trade regulations, and customs laws.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Resolve any issues related to customs clearance, documentation discrepancies, or shipment delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of export transactions and prepare reports as required.
  • Liaise with sales and operations teams to coordinate export schedules.
  • Stay updated on export regulations and industry best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience in airfreight export or logistics.
  • Knowledge of customs procedures and international shipping regulations.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in related computer software and freight management systems.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Education:

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
