About the Role

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. You will play a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and improving systems and processes across the business.

Β Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and provide variance analysis
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Manage VAT lodgements, audits, and statutory compliance (IFRS)
  • Process accruals, prepayments, and intercompany transactions
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations and financial controls
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimisation initiatives
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements (SAP preferred)

Β Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Financial Management
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role (audit experience advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, IFRS, and reconciliations
  • Experience with SAP or similar accounting systems
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with stakeholders
