Accountant - Ceva ( Air and Ocean)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Accountant to join our Finance team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities and ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.

This role plays a key part in providing accurate financial information to support effective decision-making and the overall performance of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Assist external auditors and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
• Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA/CPA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
