WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT
Role Description:
Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and we specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products for local and export markets. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Warehouse Assistant to be based at our manufacturing plant in Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.
- Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system.
- Ensure timely & accurate stock movement, receipting and system entries.
- Manage & monitor storage and damaged stocks.
- Ensure accuracy and timely recording of goods received
- Coordinate with stock controller and manage the dispatch of inventory and adherence to internal processes.
- Assist with daily and monthly stock takes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- At least 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role preferably within a manufacturing plant.
- Must be computer literate and have strong attention to detail and microsoft excel knowledge.
- Physically fit and ability to carry out manual handling.
- Ability to work under minimum supervision and have strong work ethics.
- A class 9 driving license will be an added advantage.
