Warehouse Clerk

We are seeking to hire a highly a motivated individual as a Warehouse Clerk to be based in Suva reporting to the Inventory Officer. The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for carrying out day-to-day warehouse operations including inventory control, inbound and outbound activities, customs clearance, procurement support, and logistics coordination. The role ensures compliance with telecom industry requirements while maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all warehouse processes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming telecom equipment and consumables
• Process outbound orders including project spares and end-of-life
• Coordinate shipping schedules and courier arrangements
• Maintain accurate inventory through audits and cycle counts.
• Ensure safe storage and handling of sensitive telecom hardware
• Uphold safety and cleanliness standards across the warehouse.
• Prepare customs documentation for imports and exports
• Liaise with brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory bodies
• Track shipments and ensure timely delivery and clearance
• Maintain detailed records for audits and compliance
•  Raise purchase requests for warehouse supplies and equipment
• Assist with vendor coordination and invoice processing
• Ensure procurement aligns with company policies and telecom standards
• Operate ERP systems (e.g., MWS) to manage real-time stock transactions
• Generate reports on stock movement, aging, and discrepancies
• Support technical inspections and documentation for damaged or obsolete items
• Coordinate with project teams for timely issuance and transfer of materials
• Manage records for EOL equipment and disposal processes

Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:

• A certificate in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
• 2–3 years’ experience in warehouse operations,
• Knowledge of customs regulations, import/export documentation, and logistics processes.
• Basic understanding of MWS or other ERP/WMS systems.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Familiar with inbound, outbound, and reverse logistics processes.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) an advantage.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customs authorities.
