Finance Officer-Payables ( Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited)

About Us:
Southern Cross Foods is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and specializes in manufacturing production of extruded snacks and confectionery for Fiji and International markets and is also a co manufacturer of Maggi Noodles for Nestle. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experience Finance Officer-Payables to be based in Ba.

Role Description:

• Reconcile PO receipts against invoices and delivery dockets.
• Capturing all invoices in a timely manner to correct accounts.
• Ensure timely payments processed to suppliers as per agreed terms.
• Respond efficiently to supplier queries.
• Maintain an organized filing for all payment vouchers.
• Keep accurate records for all daily transactions for statutory reporting purposes.
• Update internal systems with financial data and carry out reconciliations.
• Effectively participate in the monthly stock takes.
• Ensure internal control for payables is being always practiced.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification preferably Degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized
  university.
• Competent in Microsoft office applications (word, excel etc.)
• Ability to build good relationship with vendors and suppliers.
• Accurate data entry skills required.
• Have the drive, energy, and personality to work as part of a team.
• Strong technical and analytical skills will be an added advantage.
• Self-motivated and ability to work under minimum supervision.
