FINANCE OFFICER - RECEIVABLES
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position at C J Patel (Pacific) Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the CJ Patel Group of Companies, based in Suva. Reporting to the Operations Accountant, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate receipting of customer payments, and supporting efficient credit control operations to ensure smooth financial processes and effective customer account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and maintain accurate general ledger records.
- Ensure timely and accurate receipting of all customer payments.
- Identify and reconcile bank deposits on a daily basis, including follow-up on unidentified deposits.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with debtors at all times.
- Prepare and process manual deposits as required.
Skills and Experience
- Degree in Accounting & Finance.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
