Our properties are well-established and widely recognized across Fiji and the Pacific. This cluster brings together three (3) properties under two distinct brands: the iconic Grand Pacific Hotel—currently on a historic path as it transitions into IHG’s Luxury & Lifestyle collection—the lively local favorite, Holiday Inn Suva, and the award-winning InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. 

We’re looking for an experienced procurement leader to take ownership of the sourcing strategy, drive alignment and synergies across procurement, and raise supplier performance throughout the organization. This role is ideal for someone who can think ahead, negotiate with confidence, and turn commercial objectives into practical procurement plans that deliver results. The position is based in Suva at the Grand Pacific Hotel, with occasional travel to InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa. 

A quick look at your day-to-day 

• Lead and manage procurement activities across multiple properties, ensuring they align with overall organizational goals and priorities. 
• Design and execute strategic sourcing approaches that balance cost efficiency, quality, and strong supplier partnerships. 
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and ensure procurement strategies support operational requirements. 
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable outcomes while managing potential risks. 
• Champion continuous improvement efforts to strengthen procurement processes and boost efficiency. 
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers, encouraging collaboration and long-term value. 
• Ensure full compliance with IHG and FNPF procurement policies, standards, and governance frameworks. 
• Deliver weekly updates and monthly presentations. 
• Governance, compliance, and audit oversight. 
• Financial accountability and delivery of savings. 
• Inventory and supply chain oversight. 
• Systems, data management, and reporting. 
• Supplier performance monitoring and risk management. 
• Sustainable sourcing practices. 
• Business continuity planning and contingency readiness. 

What we need from you 

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management. 
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. 
• Tech savvy and competent with using AI tools.
• Flexibility – due to the nature of our industry, you may be required to be present during weekends and public holidays.
