Sales Manager – Outstation (Pactrade PNG Limited)

Role Description:

Pactrade PNG Limited is an established FMCG distributor of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and is an affiliate of CJ Patel Group of Companies in Fiji. Pactrade is seeking to recruit an experienced and driven Sales Manager – Outstation to oversee and expand our FMCG sales operations across remote and regional areas of Papua New Guinea. This role requires frequent travel to outstation locations and hands-on management of distribution networks in diverse and challenging environments.

  • Manage and grow sales performance across assigned outstation regions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive volume and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key retail partners.
  • Ensure effective product availability and distribution in remote locations.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends in outstation areas.
  • Lead, train, and support field sales representatives, merchandisers and distributor teams.
  • Track sales performance, prepare reports, and manage regional budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and operational standards.


Qualification, Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4–6 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably in regional or remote markets.
  • Proven experience in managing retailers and outstation sales operations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote regions across Papua New Guinea.
  • Ability to work independently in challenging environments.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
