Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager for CJ Patel (Pacific) Pte Limited based at Head Office, Lami. We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven General Manager to lead our FMCG Sales and Distribution business. This is a strategic leadership role and requires a dynamic leader who can effectively collaborate with in-house and third-party manufacturing partners and manage relationships with overseas principals and international brands, ensuring strong market execution and sustainable growth.

• Lead the overall business strategy and execution to deliver revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion.
• Own full P&L accountability, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial performance.
• Drive national sales and marketing performance, ensuring strong execution across all channels and categories.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail partners.
• Manage and strengthen partnerships with overseas principals, ensuring alignment on brand strategy and performance targets.
• Oversee supply chain and distribution efficiency, ensuring optimal product availability and route-to-market effectiveness.
• Leverage market data, insights, and analytics to drive data-led decision-making (DM).
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with key accounts, distributors, retailers, and channel partners.
• Manage and strengthen partnerships with overseas principals, ensuring alignment on brand strategy, positioning, and performance targets.
• Lead NPD initiatives, including product sourcing, portfolio expansion, and successful market launches.
• Support and drive export market performance, identifying growth opportunities and effective execution.
• Collaborate closely with manufacturing partners to align production planning with demand forecasts etc.
• Lead, develop, and performance-manage a cross-functional leadership team, fostering a high-performance culture and strong governance.

Qualification, Experience and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field.
• Must have 10+ years of senior leadership experience in FMCG sales and distribution.
• Proven success in managing full business operations and multi-functional teams.
• Strong experience working with international brands and principals.
• Solid understanding of supply chain and distribution in FMCG environments.
• Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
