Roles Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a experienced and highly skilled Senior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of systems for the CJ Patel Group.The Position is based at our Head Office in Lami.

• Manage and maintain servers, networks, and IT infrastructure (on-premise and cloud).
• Monitor system performance and ensure uptime, reliability, and security.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software systems.
• Manage user access, permissions, and identity controls.
• Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and application issues.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
• Lead and support IT projects, including system upgrades and migrations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.
• Maintain documentation for systems, processes, security and configurations.

Qualification, Experience and Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, AWS, VMware).
• Minimum 6–8 years’ experience in senior system administration or a similar role.
• Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls).
• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and mentoring ability
