DIVE INSTRUCTOR
Kokomo Private Island is an exclusive luxury resort located on the Great Astrolabe Reef, one of the largest and most pristine reefs in the world. We are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences, with diving and marine exploration forming a central part of our offering.
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dive Instructor to join our marine team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, professional, and memorable diving experiences to our guests, while upholding the highest standards of service and safety
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dive excursions, courses, and training sessions for guests of varying skill levels.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and industry standards.
- Maintain and oversee dive equipment and facilities.
- Provide guests with expert knowledge of marine life and the local environment.
- Support marine conservation initiatives and promote sustainable practices.
- Collaborate with resort colleagues to enhance the overall guest experience
Qualifications and Experience:
- MSDT PADI instructor will be advantage
- Free diving instructor is an advantage
- Must have minimum 2years experience in 5-star Luxury Resort
- SSI OPEN Water Scuba Instructor
- PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor
- SSI Perfect Buoyance, Stress and Rescue Instructor
- PADI Dive master certification
- EFR Instructor Engineering background is helpful not necessary
Requirements:
- Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills
- Dynamic Personality with the ability to solve problems
- Strong technical knowledge of dive operations and equipment maintenance
- Passionate dive professional.
- Adapt well to new environments
- High end guest service experience with ability to sell dive packages
- Must have remote island experience minimum 2 years
- Passion for marine conservation and sustainability
