About us

Viti Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and we specialize in manufacturing canned tuna and mackerel products for local and export markets. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Freezer Clerk to be based in Laucala Beach Estate, Suva.

Role Description:

This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will be involved in a variety of activities including but not limited to:

• Maintain freezer stock and ensure accurate and timely release of fish stock to production.
• Monitor receiving and dispatch of stock from the freezer and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Follow FIFO when issuing stock to the production line.
• Supervise freezer stock arrangement and storage ensuring proper stacking and correct pallet & cage tagging.
• Ensure Reefer Container is secured and regular temperature monitoring.
• Perform correct data entry into the system and ensure system and physical stock reconcile.
• Ensure container offloading for fish is planned appropriately to avoid detention charges.
• Carry out monthly and cyclic stock takes, investigate variances and reporting

Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least 2-3 years working experience in similar role.
• Able to work in cold environment and sub-freezing temperatures.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently both independently and in a team environment.
• A valid Group 2 or 9 driving license will be an advantage.
