Role Description:

Alfa Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group that manufactures hygiene and consumer products for Fiji and international markets such as Pacific Laundry Bar, Malumu tissues, and Stelow and holds the manufacturing license for world-renowned international brand Janola. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Maintenance Fitter to join our manufacturing team based in Wailada, Lami. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Dismantle faulty tools and sub-assemblies and repair or replace defective parts.
• Examine drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations and machine settings for troubleshooting.
• Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, electrical tools, welding equipment etc.
• Check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies for correct operations.
• Conduct maintenance of machine parts through assembling and safety upkeeping of Factory machines.

Essential Requirements

• Trade Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Fitting and Machining or related field.
• Proven experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge on Workplace Health and Safety Protocols and Quality.
• Have the drive, energy, and personality to work as part of a team.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and on shift basis.
