Senior Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef
Royal Davui Island Resort – Fiji

If you’re a Chef de Partie ready to step up - or a Junior Sous looking for something more hands-on - this is a role where you’ll actually grow.

At Royal Davui, you won’t be stuck on one section doing the same thing every day. Our chefs work across the kitchen, build a broad skillset, and are involved in everything from prep through to service.

It’s a role our chefs genuinely enjoy - because it’s varied, fast-paced, and you’re constantly learning.

What the role involves:

  • Working across all sections of the kitchen
  • Working service with confidence and consistency
  • Supporting daily menu changes and development
  • Being part of a small, capable team that backs each other
  • Maintaining high standards in prep, service, and organisation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience as a Chef de Partie (or similar level)
  • Confident working any section during service
  • Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen organisation
  • Able to work across multiple sections, not just one specialty
  • Good communication and team skills
  • Reliable, with a strong work ethic
  • Physically fit and able to handle a busy kitchen environment
  • Able to live and work in a remote island setting
