Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst
The Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst plays a key role in driving financial strategy by providing comprehensive planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This position delivers accurate, data-driven insights that supports decision-making, optimize resources, and strengthens financial performance across the airline's operations, ensuring sustainable growth in a dynamic industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop annual budgets and rolling forecasts, maintain models, and ensure alignment with corporate plans.

Reporting & Month-End: Prepare financial reports, perform variance analysis, and support month-end processes.

Financial Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analysis, identify trends, and improvement opportunities.

Business Partnering: Act as a finance contact point for allocated business units, support initiatives, and assist in regular reviews with budget holders to monitor performance.

Process Improvement: Maintain data integrity and drive automation in planning systems.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Must have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.

1-2 years' experience in a finance role (including as a graduate trainee or a junior accountant type role).

Strong Microsoft Excel skills; exposure to ERP (Oracle) or BI tools (Power BI, TM1) an advantage.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Time management and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.

Team player with a continuous improvement mindset.
