The Role
Pepper Advantage Hub (Fiji) is seeking a talented Business Analyst to form a critical part of the Data & Analytics team. The role is an excellent opportunity for a person with financial services background to join our team and directly drive business performance improvement through creating accurate predictions of customer behavior that the business act upon
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high quality business analysis and provide clear business requirement documentations.
- Proactively engage with the management team within Residential Mortgages to document business improvements and/or issues
- Elicit and document business requirements with end users and stakeholders
- Create Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specifications across all departments in the Residential Mortgages function.
- Communication of the requirements to IT and support IT implementation.
- Support the deployment of the change
- Communication to the business / client
- Assist with solution testing and deployment to production
- Liaison with Pepper stakeholders to understand their marketing requirements and design solutions.
- Business Support
- Identify and escalate opportunities, threats and best practice in order to drive continuous improvement
- Assist in closing errors raised by identifying root cause
- Review and approve items requiring CCB approval submitted in JIRA
- Work closely with the BI team to document reporting requirements
- Work closely with the Head of Operational Excellence on the coordination of information for the CBI
- Training
- Provide end user training on request
- Facilitate Knowledge Share sessions across the team.
Skills and experience required:
- Candidate needs to be flexible in terms of working hours (Ideally from 8 pm to 4.30 am FJT).
- Recognised IT Qualification (desirable)
- Recognised Business Design / Change Management Certification (desirable)
- Recognised Project Management Qualification (desirable)
- Change management skills
- Significant experience and knowledge of supporting transformational change in a Retail mortgage servicing business
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
