Role Description:
Fiji Dairy Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and is the leading manufacturer of a range of dairy products including pasteurized milk, UHT milk, powdered milk, butter, yoghurt, fresh and sour cream and various other flavored dairy products. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Carpenter to join our manufacturing team to be based in our Head Office, Cunningham Road, Nabua.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a range of carpentry tasks, including complex assignments when required.
- Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures and fixtures within production areas, factory buildings, and office spaces as directed.
- Evaluate and determine materials, tools, and labour requirements to efficiently complete maintenance and repair work.
- Assist with general upkeep and maintenance of the factory, including company-related errands, in a timely manner.
- Provide support for ongoing projects as assigned by the Engineering & Maintenance Manager.
Essential Requirements:
- Relevant Tertiary qualification Class 2 or Class 1 Certificate in Carpentry or Trade Certificate in Carpentry.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Must be physically fit and ability to work at heights when required.
- Has knowledge on OHS and workplace safety requirements.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools and power-driven equipment.
