Forklift Driver - Southern Cross Foods, Ba

About Us:

Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and specializes in manufacturing production of extruded snacks and confectionery for Fiji and International markets and is also a co-manufacturer of Maggi Noodles for Nestle. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Forklift Driver to support our warehouse and production team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient movement, handling, and storage of goods while maintaining high safety standards at all times at Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited, Ba.

Role Description:

• Transport materials between loading, unloading, processing, and storage areas.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and other delivery vehicles.
• Move and handle goods packed on pallets or in crates within the facility.
• Stack and store goods in designated storage areas in line with inventory control procedures.
• Conduct routine pre- and post-operational inspections of forklift equipment.
• Ensure the forklift is kept clean, safe, and in good working condition at all times.
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety standards and operating procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Valid Group 9 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience operating a forklift, preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong ability to assess weights, distances, and heights accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness and flexibility to work on a shift basis.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
