Guest Service Agent – Job Description

• Welcome and assist guests upon arrival and departure, ensuring a warm and professional experience.

• Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, including room assignments and billing.

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, providing effective solutions.

• Maintain accurate guest records and update reservation systems as needed.

• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.

• Provide information about hotel services, facilities, local attractions, and transportation.

• Manage phone lines, emails, and online communication professionally and courteously.

• Process payments, issue invoices, and handle cash or credit transactions accurately.

• Assist with group bookings, special requests, and VIP guest services.

• Monitor guest satisfaction and follow up to ensure an exceptional stay.

• Uphold hotel policies, safety standards, and confidentiality of guest information.

• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed.
