Houseman – Job Description

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

• Assist with room setup and ensure all amenities are stocked and in proper condition.

• Handle laundry and linen management, including collection, sorting, and delivery.

• Support housekeeping staff in cleaning tasks, including bathrooms, floors, and furniture.

• Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to supervisors.

• Assist with guest requests in a courteous and professional manner.

• Ensure waste disposal and recycling are carried out according to hotel standards.

• Transport supplies, luggage, and equipment as needed.

• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when reordering is required.

• Follow safety and hygiene protocols consistently.

• Support team members in special events, room turnovers, and deep-cleaning projects.

• Demonstrate a positive attitude, teamwork, and adherence to hotel policies.
