Lecturer in Education

Background: 

A Lecturer is qualified to Masters’ level and has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level programmes. A Lecturer is research-active and is beginning to publish their work in peer-reviewed journals. A Lecturer is involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.

Person Specification: 

Essential:

•         Master of Education

•         Minimum of 5 years of relevant teaching/work experience such as primary education teaching experience OR

•         Research-active: evidence of work published in peer-reviewed journals

Desirable:

•         Demonstrable evidence of quality teaching 

•         Clear evidence of good teaching performance and have good background knowledge of literacy & numeracy

•         University Service (administration)

•         Community Service (contributions to the wider profession)

•         Academic Leadership & Collegiality

Salary: FJD49,174.00 gross per annum plus 10% superannuation
