Goolma Ltd which operates Paradise Cove Resort, Blue Lagoon Beach Resort & Octopus Resort is seeking applications from a range of qualified and experienced professional candidates for the following position:
SECURITY OFFICER
The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding people, property, and assets by monitoring premises, enforcing security protocols, and responding to emergencies.
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Surveillance and Monitoring: Regularly patrol the premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security threats. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to ensure safety.
- Access Control: Enforce access control procedures by verifying the identity of individuals entering the premises and ensuring that only authorized personnel have access.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, and take appropriate action, including contacting law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of security related activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare reports on any irregularities or suspicious activities.
- Assistance: Provide assistance and support to employees, guests' and visitors as needed, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- Hospitality Experience: Proven 3-year experience as a security officer or in a related role is preferred. Specialized training in areas such as first aid or self-defense will be beneficial.
- Cultural Awareness: Ability to interact with diverse international guests.
- Clean Presentation, Smart Approach to Work: Maintain a polished appearance and proactive problem-solving attitude.
This is an on-site live-in role with shared accommodation.
