About the role

Core Logistics is seeking a highly motivated Customs Compiler to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for preparing and lodging accurate Customs Entries (SAD/CUSDEC) in ASYCUDA World working closely with FRCS, Biosecurity Authority of Fiji, shipping lines, freight forwarding teams, and our valued customers to ensure shipments are cleared on time and in full compliance with Fiji’s customs laws.

 

Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Prepare and lodge customs declarations for imports, exports, and transshipments in ASYCUDA World.
  • Classify goods using HS‑2022 tariff codes and calculate applicable duties, excise, and VAT.
  • Ensure compliant valuation and documentation in line with FRCS requirements.
  • Coordinate with FRCS, BAF, shipping lines, airlines and port operators for inspections and releases.
  • Provide customers with duty/tax estimates, HS rationales, and clearance updates.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with statutory retention requirements.
  • Support pre‑arrival processing to reduce clearance delays.

 

Ideal Candidate:

·        Diploma in Customs, International Trade, Business or related field.

·        1–3 years’ experience in customs compiling, customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or shipping.

·        Experience with ASYCUDA World is essential.

·        Strong understanding of HS classification, import/export regulations and Fiji customs procedures.

·        Excellent communication skills, accuracy, and the ability to prioritise under tight deadlines.

·        A team player with strong customer service orientation.
