We now have a position available in Lautoka for a Junior Laboratory Chemist

The Role:

The successful candidate will be part of the Technology Team and ensure that the company goals are achieved along with customer requirements and satisfaction. The role includes technology functions to deliver best quality products and technical services. Duties include:

• Assist Senior Chemist in development of new products as per inputs from Manager.

• Assist Senior Chemist in product improvement based on market feedback and benchmarking exercise.
• Carry out experiments to optimize formulations and achieve formulation efficiency.
• Customer complaint handling on CRM and checking of retain samples as per complaint and providing feedback to complaints registered.
• Benchmarking of own products against competition products.
• Helping Senior Chemist in evaluation and testing of new raw materials/alternate raw materials.
• Development of G-data for Spectra and Colori’s fan deck and developing custom shades as per customer requirement.
• Quality testing of raw materials and packing materials.
• Conducting quality assurance program for fast moving finished goods.
• Maintaining documents for ISO audit.
• Supporting quality laboratory as and when required for testing of batches.
• Providing support tinting laboratory as and when required.

Qualifications & Attributes:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study OR a Diploma in a relevant field of study with some experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with ability to process data using Excel.
