Project Manager – Agri-Processing Facility Development

Terra Whole Foods is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the end-to-end development of the AgriCore Facility and a high-capacity Powder Processing plant in Fiji. This role is responsible for transforming a 7.6-acre site into a state-of-the-art agricultural hub that integrates open-field farming with advanced value-addition manufacturing.

The successful candidate will oversee site master planning, facility layout design, and the technical commissioning of industrial processing equipment. You will ensure that all facility operations align with rigorous international safety and sustainability standards (SQF, Organic, SMETA) to facilitate global export to the USA, EU, and Australasia. This position requires a strategic thinker capable of managing complex timelines, budgets, and technical workflows while future-proofing the facility for long-term expansion.

Master Planning & Site Development: Develop a comprehensive master plan for a 7.6-acre property, including land use for warehouses, indoor/outdoor farms, and waste treatment facilities.

Facility Design: Create detailed layouts for receiving, processing, and export storage that optimize personnel movement and production efficiency.

Technical Oversight: Manage the procurement, installation, and commissioning of a 300kg/hour turmeric and ginger powder processing line.

Infrastructure Integration: Oversee the planning of critical systems, including electrical layouts, hydraulic/plumbing systems, and security (CCTV) infrastructure.

Skills & Qualifications Required

Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing large-scale industrial or agricultural projects from feasibility through to commissioning.

Agro-Industrial Design: Proficiency in site master planning and facility layout design, specifically for food processing or manufacturing environments.

Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial equipment procurement, electrical and plumbing infrastructure, and waste management systems.

Regulatory & Compliance Proficiency: Deep knowledge of international food safety and export standards, such as SQF, Organic (NOP), and ethical audit frameworks (SMETA).

Financial Literacy: Ability to perform detailed financial analyses, including cost/return projections and ROI modeling.

Communication & Reporting: Excellent reporting skills, with the ability to provide weekly progress updates and comprehensive technical reports.

Tools: Familiarity with time-tracking and project management software (e.g., Time Doctor).

Education/Experience: Prior experience in the agribusiness, food technology, or engineering sectors is highly preferred.
