Revenue Analyst

The Revenue Analyst prepares in-depth market analysis, both historical and forward projections to provide insight to management in Revenue Performance and Global Sales about routes, markets and Fiji Airways Group performance. The role provides data interpretations, monitors trends and provides data to support decision-making.

This role reports to Senior Manager Business Intelligence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Extract, validate, and analyze large volumes of historical and forward-looking commercial data using modern analytics tools to support high-impact business decisions.
  • Maintain, optimize, and leverage new and existing databases, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and providing technical support to users across the wider Commercial team.
  • Actively contribute to strategic planning and budget processes, participating in stakeholder discussions with Revenue Performance, Network Planning, and Global Sales teams to influence organizational planning.
  • Support Commercial leadership with data-driven insights, preparing airline statistics, business case inputs, performance reports, and analytical presentations.
  • Prepare and interpret detailed performance and revenue reports, ensuring senior management receives timely, actionable intelligence for decision-making.
  • Consolidate and communicate key insights for Weekly Sales & Revenue Updates, drawing from multiple data sources and operational systems.
  • Evaluate forward-booking trends, identifying risk areas across routes and Points of Sale, and highlighting opportunities for RM and Pricing intervention.
  • Ensure end-to-end reliability and governance of commercial data, maintaining high standards of data quality for all reporting and analytics workflows.
  • Support Business Intelligence and system enhancement initiatives, performing UATs and contributing to the roll-out of new reporting prototypes.
  • Provide innovative input into dashboard and reporting design, ensuring insights are accessible, intuitive, and aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain core system reference data, safeguarding ongoing system integrity and alignment with Commercial process requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology from a recognized university.
  • A minimum of 2 years' work experience an Analyst or in similar positions is preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and information technology skills.
  • Experience in data analysis is preferred but not essential.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and have the willingness to adapt to new learning environment.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good organizational and problem solving skills with the ability to work on own initiative and the energy, drive and commitment to deliver high quality results to meet tight timelines.
  • Ability to influence and challenge key stakeholders on business processes and performance.
  • Possess interpersonal skills to work effectively with all levels within the organization.
