Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required

We are looking for a reliable and organized Inventory Clerk to manage the receipt, storage, and monitoring of all stock across our resort. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, food safety, and proper stock management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive deliveries from barge, ferry, or local suppliers; check quantities, condition, and expiry dates.

  • Store stock correctly: dry goods, perishables, meat, fish, dairy, and bar supplies.

  • Monitor stock levels, rotate stock (FIFO), and report shortages or expiring items to management.

  • Maintain accurate records of received goods, wastage, and daily stock movements.

  • Ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination, particularly with meat, fish, and poultry.

  • Conduct weekly stocktakes and report variances.

  • Assist in loading/unloading supplies, maintaining the storeroom, and keeping equipment and tools organized.

  • Communicate clearly with management and other teams about stock issues.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all storage areas.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in inventory or stock management is preferred.

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is an advantage.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Comfortable handling deliveries and physical stock movement.
