We are looking for a reliable and organized Inventory Clerk to manage the receipt, storage, and monitoring of all stock across our resort. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, food safety, and proper stock management.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive deliveries from barge, ferry, or local suppliers; check quantities, condition, and expiry dates.
Store stock correctly: dry goods, perishables, meat, fish, dairy, and bar supplies.
Monitor stock levels, rotate stock (FIFO), and report shortages or expiring items to management.
Maintain accurate records of received goods, wastage, and daily stock movements.
Ensure food safety and prevent cross-contamination, particularly with meat, fish, and poultry.
Conduct weekly stocktakes and report variances.
Assist in loading/unloading supplies, maintaining the storeroom, and keeping equipment and tools organized.
Communicate clearly with management and other teams about stock issues.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in all storage areas.
Requirements:
Previous experience in inventory or stock management is preferred.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of food safety and handling procedures is an advantage.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable handling deliveries and physical stock movement.
