Role Description:
Fiji Dairy Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group of Companies and is the leading manufacturer of a range of dairy products including pasteurized milk, UHT milk, powdered milk, butter, yoghurt, fresh and sour cream and various other flavored dairy products. We are seeking to recruit dynamic and performance-oriented Laboratory Analyst to be based in our Head Office, Cunningham Road, Nabua.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine chemical, physical, and microbiological testing in accordance with approved SOPs and operating standards.
- Ensure laboratory analyses and reporting are completed accurately and within defined timelines.
- Record, review, and maintain laboratory test results, calibration records, and related documentation.
- Communicate test results, deviations, and non-conformances promptly to relevant stakeholders.
- Conduct routine line visits for sample collection and SOP compliance.
- Carry out calibration, cleaning, and basic maintenance of laboratory equipment as per schedules.
- Support QA, NPD, and production teams with laboratory testing, investigations, and improvement activities.
- Maintain good laboratory housekeeping and comply with GLP, GMP, HACCP, and ISO requirements.
- Ensure workplace safety, health, and environmental requirements are followed at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Technology or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of work experience, preferably in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP and Food Safety Management would be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
