About Us:
Southern Cross Foods Pte Limited is a food manufacturing entity of CJ Patel Group of Companies. We specialize in the production of noodles, extruded snacks and confectionery for Fiji and International markets and are co-manufacturers for Nestle. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced Production Supervisor to be based in Ba.
Role Description:
- Oversee the various aspects of the production process.
- Ensure production plans are followed and daily efficiency levels are achieved.
- Implement corrective actions to address deviations from quality standards.
- Monitor production line waste and develop strategies to minimize the same.
- Conduct regular staff performance evaluations and address any issues promptly.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Control shift inventory for accurate and effective shop order processing.
- Assist and participate actively in External Food Safety Audits and GAP closure.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in science/engineering, manufacturing/logistics or a related field.
- Proven experience in food production or supervisory roles in any manufacturing area.
- Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, root cause analysis, production planning (GMP), HACCP and Food Safety Management.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Strong supervisory skills and attention to detail.
Remuneration:
Competitive market-based remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
