Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required
KEY DUTIES:
- Assist the Dock master in the overall management and safe navigation of the vessel.
- Supervise deck operations of floating dry dock.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Manage and train crew to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
- Monitor vessel stability, operations and safety equipment readiness.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant qualification and valid Certification of Competency of Chief Mate.
- Experience of seagoing experience in a senior role.
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decision in critical situations.
