Workshop Inventory Clerk / Handyman (Island Based)

Mantaray Island Resort is looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our island maintenance team. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, can do basic carpentry, and likes keeping tools and materials organised while working in a friendly island environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, issue, and keep records of workshop tools and materials
  
  

• Maintain stock levels and ensure proper storage and labelling
  
  

• Assist with daily workshop tasks and basic carpentry work
  
  

• Prepare tools and materials for maintenance jobs
  
  

• Keep the workshop clean, organised, and safe
  
  

• Report any stock shortages or damages to the Supervisor
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in a storeman or workshop role
  
  

• Basic carpentry skills and knowledge of tools and materials
  
  

• Good organisational skills
  
  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
  

• Physically fit and able to do manual work
  
  

Desirable

• Trade certificate or practical carpentry experience
  
  

• Experience working in a resort, hotel, or similar environment
