There is an exciting opportunity in the IT department at Fiji Airways.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer - IT Operations, the successful incumbent will provide technical expertise by gathering, designing and implementing project requirements in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. The role also involves providing escalated second-level support to end users and prioritizing the management of access requests, unified communications, branch IT infrastructure, and data center health checks.

Ensure timely completion of assigned second level IT service desk tickets.

Conduct health checks of system and infrastructure services, log faults/ incidents on IT service desk (JIRA) and provide fixes in consultation with line managers.

Perform datacenter maintenance activities, apply upgrades & security patches to eliminate vulnerability & produce non-compliance reports.

Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve problem tickets & prepare knowledge base manuals for future reference.

Lead physical infrastructure improvement projects and ensure Fiji Airways requirements are delivered accordingly.

Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements on CCTV solution and provide technical advice & support while implementing this.

Deliver audit & compliance recommendation and remediation as assigned by line supervisors.

Responsible for unified communication, internet service contracts and support escalations with telecommunication and internet service providers.

Collaborate with internal teams or external vendors to lead IT operational projects and meet the objectives.

Implement and enforce IT Policies & Procedures.

Conduct routine checks, backup & recovery monitoring, datacenter physical checks, network traffic analysis and address any anomalies.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Must have a Degree in Networking/ Information System or equivalent.

Must have ITIL Service management or Windows server/ network certification.

Minimum 2 years' experience in an enterprise IT environment.

Project experience on structured cabling, CCTV's, access control and unified communications.

Understand ITIL service principles, service desk and asset management.

Proven experience in managing vendors/ suppliers.
