Golf Simulator Instructor

Kokomo Private Island, Fiji is a luxurious retreat offering unparalleled experiences in the heart of Fiji.  We are looking for a skilled and engaging instructor to lead guest experiences in our state-of-the-art golf simulator.  If you are passionate about coaching, confident with technology and love delivering exceptional guest service, we would love to hear from you.  This is an island-based position.

Position Overview:

As a Golf Simulator Instructor, you will guide guests through personalized lessons, swing analysis and immersive virtual golf sessions.  You will ensure every guest - whether beginner or advanced - receives world class service and leaves with an unforgettable experience. Reports directly to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Provide fun, engaging golf lessons suitable for all skill levels—from complete beginners to seasoned golfers.  Oversee the operation and maintenance of generators, desalination plant, sewage treatment plant, and associated systems.
• Make the experience memorable, social, and enjoyable, aligning with the resort’s entertainment standards.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain simulator hardware and software.
• Ensure simulator bays are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Quickly troubleshoot tech issues to minimize guest downtime.
• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional service that reflects resort standards.
• Explain simulator features clearly and patiently to guests unfamiliar with the technology.
• Assist guests with booking lessons, events, or simulator play.
• Work with resort recreation staff to integrate golf experiences into island activity itineraries.
• Maintain adequate spacing and manage swing areas to prevent accidents.
• Ensure guests understand proper handling of clubs and simulator gear.
• Take reservations, manage daily schedules, and maintain lesson logs when required.
• Coordinate with resort management on guest flow, staffing needs, and simulator availability.
• Provide an elevated standard of food and beverage service.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience teaching golf (all levels)
• Strong communication & guest focused attitude
• Confident using or learning simulator technology
• Professional, friendly, resort appropriate presentation
• Flexible hours (evenings/weekends a bonus)
• Passion for delivering exceptional experiences in a luxury setting
• Clean Police record and preferably with current First Aid Cert & have Fire Fighting Cert.
• Food and Beverage Service not required, but will make you a stronger candidate.
• Bar Experience will also make you a stronger candidate for the role.
