PROCESS WORKERS AND MACHINE OPERATORS

Role Description:

Alfa Pte Limited is a subsidiary of CJ Patel Group that manufactures hygiene and consumer products for Fiji and international markets such as Pacific Laundry Bar, Malumu tissues, and Stelow and holds the manufacturing license for world-renowned international brand Janola. We are seeking reliable and hardworking Process Workers and Machine Operators to join our manufacturing team based in Wailada, Lami. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to quality and safety.

PROCESS WORKERS

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and work efficiently on the production line while ensuring product quality standards are consistently met.
• Monitor, record, and maintain accurate production data including quantities, weights, dates, and product types.
• Assist with labelling, sorting, packing, and palletizing of finished goods in line with company standards.
• Perform basic quality checks to identify defects or non-conforming products.
• Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the production and work areas.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum secondary level education
• Physically fit and in good health, able to perform manual and repetitive tasks
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and production demands
• Flexible with working hours, including shift work when required
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

MACHINE OPERATOR

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical and computer-controlled production equipment in line with approved procedures.
• Conduct routine machine inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks during operation.
• Perform efficient start-up of production cycles and product changeovers with zero compromise on quality or safety.
• Monitor and maintain Critical Control Points (CCPs), completing checks at required frequencies to prevent quality or safety issues.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.

Essential Requirements

• Relevant technical qualification with 1–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Sound understanding of production processes, machinery operation, and safety requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and operating instructions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and in good health, capable of working in an industrial environment.
• Flexible with working hours, including shift work as required.
