Job Description & Skills/Qualifications Required
Industrial & Marine Engineering PTE Limited (IMEL), a division of Carpenters Group of Companies, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the Dock Engineer position to be based at our Floating Dry Dock in Walubay.
KEY DUTIES:
- Inspecting, maintaining and repairing dock facilities and mechanical systems.
- Diagnosing faults and recommending technical solutions.
- Coordinating with marine and engineering team during docking and undocking.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant certification in Class 3-4 Engineering or Engine Room Watch Rating (EWR) qualification.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge in maintaining and overhauling diesel engines.
- Capable of doing maintenance works.
- Must have good leadership skills and be a team player.
