Industrial & Marine Engineering PTE Limited (IMEL), a division of Carpenters Group on Companies, is seeking applications from interested candidates for the Dock Crew position to be based at our Floating Dry Dock in Walubay.
KEY DUTIES:
- Assist with positioning, securing, and managing the floating dry dock and vessels, ensuring smooth launching and retrieval processes
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on the dry dock’s equipment, systems, and safety gear.
- Follow safety protocols, conduct safety drills, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Certification in Deck Watch Rating (DWR) or Engine Room Watch Rating (EWR) qualification.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Sound knowledge in maintaining and overhauling diesel engines.
- Valid Certification in Able Seaman.
- Valid Certification in Fire Fighting, Proficiency in Medical First Aid, Personal Safety, Social Responsibility and in Survival Craft.
