The Organisation
The Commercial Investment Unit (CIU) is a statutory body of the Vanuatu Government. Under the Commercial Government Business Enterprise Act of 2024, the CIU has mandatory oversight of State-Owned Enterprises.
The Position
The Accountant and Systems Analysts will be responsible to provide technical support across the following state-owned enterprises:
Airports Vanuatu Limited (AVL)
Air Vanuatu (Operations) Limited (AVOL)
National Housing Corporation (NHC)
Vanuatu Broadcasting and Television Corporation (VBTC)
Vanuatu Post Limited (VPL)
Vanuatu Rural Development Bank (VRDB)
The accountants (TA) will work with SOE counterparts to address a number of questions while, at the same time, supporting the SOE to produce draft half-yearly and annual financial statements within the legislated time frame.
