The position supports the implementation of Rural Electrification (RE) Projects in the Central, Eastern, Western and Northern Divisions via the Rural Electrification Policy that supports the Ministry’s Operational Plan linked to the National Development Plan.
Key Responsibilities
The position will achieve its purpose through the following principle accountabilities:
1. Attend to engine breakdown, servicing maintenance and necessary repair works and submit reports;
2. Attend to overhauling of engines which needs comprehensive servicing and replacement of parts and submit reports;
3. Attend to testing of new generators, board of survey of old generators and submit reports;
4. Attend to mechanical work needed in Solar, Hydro, Biofuel projects and submit reports;
5. Assist Technical Assistant Electrical Officers in survey and inspection of FEA, Diesel Schemes, Solar Projects and submit report;
