An Instructor has expertise in a particular subject which is taught proficiently up to undergraduate level 7. An Instructor will be beginning to engage with industry to maintain the currency of his/her qualification and take responsibility for his/her professional development. An Instructor is involved in the work of their Department and takes on administrative roles that assist the Department to function.
Person Specification:
Essential:
Basic License (LWTR)/ LAME.
At least 8 years in an approved aircraft maintenance organization (145C).
Administrative duties.
Training of Trainers (TOTs) 1 & 2.
Note: Applicants who do not hold the TOTs certificates must be willing to upgrade.
OR Bachelors (Hons) with at least 2 years industry/ teaching experience.
OR Postgraduate (FQF level 8) with at least 2 years industry/ teaching experience.
