The Opportunity The position of Senior Technician (Chemistry) is created to supervise the day-to-day operation of the Chemistry laboratories, providing specialist chemistry support and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of technical support service in the chemistry teaching and research laboratories and related facilities.  Specific Duties Duties include the following: • Responsible for supervision and management of the daily operations of chemistry teaching and research laboratories and related facilities. • Provide administrative support related functions, such as obtaining quotations from overseas and local vendors, evaluating quotations, executing cost analysis and prompt purchasing processes, and dealing with finance and HR matters as required. • Conduct staff appraisals and annual staff reviews for subordinate staff. • Support and mentor subordinate staff in their professional development. •...
