KEY DUTIES:
Patrol and monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of unauthorised access, hazards or disturbances.
Assist customers, staff, and members of the public with general inquiries, directions and on-site support.
Provide a friendly, visible security presence to deter inappropriate or illegal behaviour.
Operate and monitor security systems.
Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies and alarms.
Support enforcement of policies, health and safety protocols, and emergency procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies.
Flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
