Role Description:
Pactrade PNG Limited is an established FMCG distributor of Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and is an affiliate of CJ Patel Group of Companies in Fiji. Pactrade is seeking to recruit an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team based at Papua New Guinea . Reporting to the finance manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for:
Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial reports and support the month-end close process.
Manage full AP/AR functions, including supplier payments, invoicing, credit control, and collections.
Oversee inventory accounting, stock reconciliations, and variance analysis.
Assist Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, delivering clear reports.
Ensure compliance with tax and statutory requirements.
Maintain strong internal controls and support audit processes.
