WE ARE HIRING! - Company Driver

As a Loading Driver, you will be responsible for driving company vehicles, collecting and delivering resort supplies, and assisting with the safe loading, unloading and transportation of freight, equipment and goods between the mainland and Mantaray Island Resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to collect and deliver resort supplies, freight, equipment and other goods.

• Load, unload, pack and secure goods safely for transportation.

• Assist with daily freight preparation and ensure items are checked against manifests, orders and invoices.

• Ensure all goods are properly accounted for before delivery.

• Report any missing, damaged or incorrect items.

• Collect supplies, purchases and documents from suppliers when required.

• Assist with barge loading and unloading, town runs, returns, repairs, waste collection and other freight duties.

• Assist with moving and handling heavy items, ensuring proper lifting and safety practices are followed.

• Keep company vehicles clean and carry out basic vehicle checks.

• Report any vehicle faults, damages or servicing requirements to management.

• Maintain clean, organized and safe loading and storage areas.

• Complete delivery dockets and maintain accurate freight, repair and vehicle records.

• Carry out other duties as required by the Office Manager or Directors.

What We're Looking For

• Physically fit and able to lift, carry and move heavy items.

• Must hold a valid full manual driving license.

• Confident and responsible when driving manual vehicles.

• Reliable, punctual, hardworking and trustworthy.

• Organized and able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• A positive team player who can also work independently.

• Able to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.

• Careful and responsible when handling resort property, supplies and guest belongings.

• Flexible and willing to work weekends and public holidays when required.

• Previous experience in driving, loading, warehouse, logistics, transportation or freight operations will be an advantage.
