Electrician

Tokatoka Resort Nadi invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced Electricians with practical knowledge of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems to join our Engineering and Maintenance team. The successful applicant will support the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the resort’s electrical infrastructure, air conditioning systems and associated equipment.

 Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and repairs throughout the resort.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, wiring systems, control panels, circuit breakers and electrical equipment.
• Assist with the servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis of HVAC and air conditioning systems.
• Inspect and troubleshoot HVAC electrical controls, thermostats, motors, compressors and related components.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on guest room air conditioning units and other resort equipment.
• Respond promptly to electrical and HVAC breakdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report technical issues to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Ensure all work complies with workplace health and safety requirements and electrical safety procedures.
• Support the Engineering team with general maintenance duties as required.

 Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant electrical trade qualification or certificate.
• Proven practical experience in electrical maintenance and fault diagnosis.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, including air conditioning electrical controls and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and workplace electrical safety.
• Ability to identify faults, carry out repairs and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
