Resort Maintenance Handyman

Navini Island Resort is seeking a skilled handyman who is versatile, resourceful, and energetic to keep our facilities in top condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Carpentry & Repairs: Repair and maintain wooden decks, guest bures/villas, furniture, the ramp, and architectural structures weathered by the island elements.
• General Handyman Tasks: Handle day-to-day resort maintenance, including basic plumbing, fixing fixtures, tiles, minor painting, and plastering.
• Preventative Maintenance: Inspect resort grounds, guest rooms, and facilities daily to identify and resolve maintenance issues before they impact guests.
• Emergency Response: Quickly troubleshoot and resolve urgent maintenance requests with minimal disruption to the guest experience.

Requirements

• Experience & Skills: Proven experience as a general handyman, carpenter or joiner. A trade qualification in a related trade is an advantage but not essential. Proficient with a wide range of hand and power tools; basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or tiling is a major plus.
• Hospitality Mindset: Friendly, professional demeanour when interacting with resort guests and team members.

Competitive salary based on experience. Full on-island shared accommodation and meals included. Flexible days off, with transfers on scheduled boat runs included.
