POSITION: DELIVERY DRIVER – LAUTOKA

Employment Type: Full-Time

Oceania Gas is the leading manufacturer of industrial, medical and food-grade gases. We are the authorized distributor of BOC gases, industrial safety and welding products in the South Pacific.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure timely delivery of gas cylinders within the allocated timeframe.
2. Follow safe driving practices and comply with all road safety regulations.
3. Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and stakeholders.
4. Safely load and unload gas cylinders and other products, ensuring loads are properly secured.
5. Conduct vehicle inspections and ensure safe loading and unloading procedures.
6. Maintain accurate daily delivery logs and records.
7. Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance checks, including oil, water, battery and tyres.
8. Carry out other duties assigned by the Logistics Team.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be customer service-oriented with good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and priorities tasks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
• Experience in delivery operations and handling gas cylinders would be an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and capable of performing loading and unloading duties.

Mandatory Requirements

• Must possess a valid Group 2,6,9 & Dangerous Goods (DG) Driving Licence added advantage.
• Must have a clean LTA driving record/reference.
• Must have a clean Police Record (Police Clearance).
• Must have experience driving heavy vehicles.
• Must have experience operating trailers and side lifters.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
