Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will handle the Accounts Payable & Cost duties. As an Accountant, you’re not just handling the duties of the General Ledger – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

• Financial Reporting:  Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• General Ledger Oversight:  Manage and reconcile ledger accounts, ensuring proper documentation.
• Compliance & Controls:  Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Audit Coordination:  Support internal and external audits with timely and accurate documentation.
• Team Leadership:  Supervise junior accountants and support their development.
• Budget & Forecasting:  Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts in collaboration with management.
• Process Improvement:  Identify and implement enhancements to accounting processes and systems.
• Stakeholder Communication:  Liaise with internal departments and external partners on financial matters.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel accounting and operational management
• Basic computational proficiency and system familiarity
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Resourceful, adaptable, and team-focused
• Experience in line operations and labor management preferred
