As we proudly transition into the InterContinental Luxury & Lifestyle Collection, The Grand Pacific Hotel Suva invites you to be part of its historic transformation. We are seeking a talented, passionate, and driven IT Specialist  to support our team and to deliver world-class experience.

Reporting directly to Cluster IT Manager, as a IT Specialist your duties will include but not limited to the following:

• Provide day-to-day IT support to all hotel departments and colleagues.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot computers, printers, network equipment and other IT hardware.
• Monitor and maintain the hotel’s network, systems and IT infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot software, hardware, connectivity and system-related issues.
• Support hotel systems and applications, including property management and operational systems.
• Maintain IT asset registers, documentation and records.
• Assist with system upgrades, installations, backups and technology projects.
• Ensure IT security, data protection and access controls are maintained.
• Provide technical support for meetings, events and hotel functions.
• Conduct basic IT training and guidance for colleagues.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures and relevant IT standards.

What we need from you

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and friendly individual who is willing to learn and build an extraordinary career within a global company. The ideal candidate will have:

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Previous experience in an IT support or IT systems role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Experience supporting hotel systems will be an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
