STORES & INVENTORY OFFICER

South Sea Cruises Group (SSCG) is Fiji’s most experienced and award-winning marine tourism operator offering a range of award-winning products and services throughout the stunning Mamanuca & Yasawa Islands. SSCG operates a modern fleet of fast catamarans, an overnight cruise ship, a modern sailing catamaran, an array of smaller vessels. SSCG also operates Fiji’s two most popular day trip islands.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The position is responsible for the efficient management, control, and movement of the company’s inventory and store supplies. The role ensures that stock is properly received, recorded, stored, issued, and monitored to maintain accurate inventory levels and support smooth day-to-day operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily stores and inventory operations, including receiving, issuing and recording
• of stock
• Ensure all incoming goods are checked against purchase orders and delivery dockets
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock movements are correctly recorded.
• Monitor stock levels, par levels and reorder requirements to support operations
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist with stock reconciliation and investigations of
• variances.

 ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Computer knowledge – experience in using SAGE Evolution system will be an added
• advantage.
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of local products and suppliers
• Flexible hours with working on weekends.
